The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge landed in Canada with their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte   
The Cambridge family were in Canada yesterday for an event, where little Prince George and his sister Charlotte, stole the show. William and Kate helped their son step off the plane after it touched down in Victoria, Canada, at 4pm local time on Saturday  
The Duchess of Cambridge, 34, was wearing a blue Jenny Packham dress and held her daughter as she walked down the steps from the plane  
The family arrived on a Canadian Air Force plane on time shortly before 4pm local time and were greeted by the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau 
Prince William pointed as he talked to his son - who was wearing a checkered shirt and blue jumper - when the family arrive 
William and Kate helped their son step off the plane after it touched down in Victoria, Canada, at 4pm local time on Saturday

The politician offered Prince George a high-five upon greeting him to the country, only for the young Royal to shake his head and refuse, pictured 
The Canadian leader then offered a handshake instead, but a thoroughly unimpressed George remained unmoved, pictured 
Mr Trudeau took it all in good spirits but was undoubtedly 'left hanging' in his efforts to try and win George over

Prime Minister Trudeau, left, greeted them at the airport, but all eyes were on poor Princess Charlotte's knee, which seems to have been grazed  But all eyes were on Princess Charlotte, 16 months, making only her third public appearance as she clung to her mother, Kate 
Kate held her son's hand while carrying Princess Charlotte as Prince William spoke with officials after arriving in Victoria

Prince George was wearing a blue jumper with blue shorts and knee-length socks but this time with 'big boy' lace up shoes The third in line to the throne was wearing the same outfit that he wore to visit the Lindo wing when his sister was born, a pale blue jumper with blue shorts and knee-length socks 
 The Duchess of Cambridge carried Princess Charlotte The Princess waved after the family landed in Canada

The Duchess was spotted planting a kiss on her daughter's head, pictured, after the family departed their 10-hour flight 
George, his blonde hair combed down, was slightly more hesitant than his sister and required a little more encouragement from both his father and mother 
She was smiling even after the long flight  
Prince George held hands with his father, Prince William and his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, as the family walked off the plane   
 Prince George, three, has already notched up a royal tour to Australia and New Zealand but it is 16-month-old Charlotte's inaugural foreign visit and all eyes will be on the adorable toddler, who is fourth in line to the throne    
William spoke of the warm welcome they received when they were last in Canada, adding that they were excited that their children George and Charlotte could 'begin their own lifetime of friendship with this wonderful country' 
Trudeau said: 'I want to commend you and thank you for introducing our part of the world to Prince George and Princess Charlotte' 
The Duchess of Cambridge took time out to sign an official visitors book before commencing a 'Royal walkabout', greeting those who had turned out to see them and shaking hands 
Kate was excited to be in Canada, saying: "Both of us love mountains and there seems to be a lot of them here. We can't wait to explore. There is a lot to do in a short period of time" 
The Duchess of Cambridge shared a chuckle during a speech by the Duke of Cambridge 
Prince William delighted members of the crowd while walking among them and shaking their hands, pictured 
Despite the gloomy weather, the crowds wrapped up warm and were out in force to catch a glimpse of the famous family 
 Many children were keen to make their way to the front to see a real-life prince and princess come to Canada 
Crowds gathered across Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, and were even lining up in the roads
 
The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie walked to greet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge   
They attended a meeting of senior Canadian leaders, but most of the focus was on Kate and Mrs Trudeau's headwear, pictured 
The Cambridges also spent time with the Prime Minister and his wife during a meeting at Government House, Victoria 
 Kate laid a protective hand on William's thigh, as he exchanged pleasantries with Trudeau 
Kate and William left their two children at the Government House as they undertook their first official engagement. William joking said he hoped their children were not "tearing up" their home base in Canada 
It was a solemn moment that was accompanied by a bugle player and bagpiper, pictured, as the huge crowds stood watching on in revered silence 
William and Kate laid a memorial wreath at the cenotaph in Victoria, pictured, to honour those who have died in service to Canada 
At the British Columbia parliament in downtown Victoria, the couple were welcomed by thousands of cheering well wishers and a host of dignitaries 
William also thanked his hosts in hesitant and rather poorly accented French, admitting he was somewhat 'rusty' - unlike his grandmother who speaks the language fluently
