Drama: Popular Uyo Pastor's Wife, Accuses Husband of impregnated a church member [photos]

The founder and pastor of Kairos Rhema Embassy, a local church in Uyo, Akwa Ibom was disgraced on Wednesday after his wife stormed the church premises and openly informed worshipers that her husband was not just living an adulterous life but had impregnated a female member of the church.
The pastor’s wife, Idongesit Ese, was prevented from entering the auditorium of Kairos Rhema Embassy. But she defiantly stood at the church premises to tell her story.

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo joins Donald Trump and other world leaders at the G7 Summit in Italy



 
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has arrived in Italy to be part of the ongoing Group of Seven (G7) summit in the country. Osinbajo was invited to the summit to represent Nigeria at the 43rd G7 summit currently being held in Taormina, Italy with other world leaders like Donald Trump, Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel and others all in attendance. He's expected back in the country later today.

Before Oba Ewuare II ascended the throne of his fore fathers in Benin Kingdom on October 20, 2016, the people were faced with different challenges that hindered the rate of development in the various Villages or local government areas. Some of these challenges include difficulties in acquiring and developing land, extortion and intimidation of developers by members of the outlawed Community Development Association CDA, Leadership tussles, family disputes, especially issue of inheritance, boundary disputes among Villages or communities. 
 
With regard to boundary dispute, the one between Iguomon and Ikhuen-oboh, Egbirhe and Okhoromi are cases in point where several efforts to settle the matter did not yield result. Furthermore, some Enigie, Edionwere and Ohen were either suspended or relegated to the background by the CDA

Children’s Day: Edo to introduce e-learning in schools


Governor Godwin Obaseki has revealed that the state government would introduce the use of computers and notepads as tools for teaching and learning in primary and secondary schools across the state from September this year.

The governor announced this as he celebrated the 2017 National Children’s Day with young children and parents at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, on Saturday.

Governor Obaseki revealed that the move to introduce technology in primary and secondary educational institutions of the state was in line with his administration’s goal to improve the quality

Engineer Okunmafiyi an uncle to Master Efosa Divine Omoruyi had led other members of their family to accuse Mrs Angela Omoruyi, wife of Omoruyi Okunmafiyi, now deceased, of single handedly burying their late brother without the consent of family members, denying ever knowing the woman as their brother’s wife or the children.

Wike Reacts To Amaechi's Award Rejection


Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has lampooned the Minister of Transport and former governor, Rotimi Amaechi for rejecting and describing an award given to him by the state government as 'Poisoned Chalice'.

Wike, in a statement signed by the Rivers state commissioner of information, Austin Tam-George, expressed much "relief on the news of the rejection of a proposed State award, by a former governor of the State, and current Minister for Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi".
