Meet our first "VIP OF THE WEEK".

Pascal Chukwuebuka Solomon (born May 17, 1989), known by his stage name CHUK E (pronounced as Choc E) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. The name CHUK E was coined from his name Chukwuebuka which means God is too great. CHUK E developed his love for music at the tender age of ten and began writing songs at the age of fourteen. He gets his inspiration from his environment and experiences of life.
His versatility means that he is not boxed into producing any or some form of music because he is capable of producing any style of music. However, most of his songs fall into the genres Afro-pop and R&B.

CHUK E is a musical talent with the triple threat abilities of writing, singing, and performing. CHUK E’s style of music involves blending English and indigenous lyrics with sweet melodies. His music conveys originality and conscious narratives, rare qualities in contemporary Nigerian artistes. His career took off seriously in the year 2012 when he decided he was going to take up music full time.

Since the release of ‘Shokiri’; his first official single, CHUK E has risen to mainstream popularity in many parts of Nigeria. ‘Shokiri’ is currently receiving massive air play on radio premiered on the “Hot or Not” show on Hot 98.3 FM in Abuja on the 22nd of October 2014 and was voted HOT by callers and tweeters respectively. The success of ‘Shokiri’ prompted the shooting of a music video for the song which has been released and is receiving reasonable airplay on popular terrestrial television stations and many YouTube likes. CHUK E’s first performance was at the MBGA (Most Beautiful Girl in Abuja) Pageant which held the same month of the release of ‘Shokiri’ at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja.
