A Pastor in Ogun state, Wale Fagbere during the weekend was rendered unconscious and speechless after attacking a community shrine at Ketu – Ayetoro in Yewa North LGA of Ogun state.
Reports say Pastor Wale boasted to his members that he would pull down the shrine and nothing would happen.
Community traditionalists congregate at the shrine to worship. However he was said to have been rendered motionless after attacking the shrine and couldn't lift his feet.
People said he was trapped by forces suspected to be spirits.
Those who sighted him in his agony raised the alarm, which drew attention of priests in charge of the shrine.
The priests demanded some rituals must be carried out before the trapped pastor could be set him free.
He regained consciousness after treatment following intervention of the Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Abdulaziz Adelakun.
This incident was confirmed by Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi.
