Uniport Students begins protest against tuition fee hike.

Dozens of disgruntled students from the University of Port Harcourt poured into the streets in protest against increased tuition fees. A peaceful rally was sparked by a recent rise in the school fees. UNIPORT students joined their counterparts all over the country:

The drastic increase of school fees from N25,000 to N350,000 has forced students out into the streets to say their final word. The protest engaged the police but there was no violence and no one was hurt. The students called on to continue protests till the problem with fee rise is solved.
