Ohaneze Ndigbo n Malaysia, Others Mourn Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, Say He Was a Rear Germ

We have received several updates on Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, a business tycoon who passed on on Sunday in Malaysia. Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku who until his sad passing on Sunday morning was the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo n Malaysia, a tittle that was conferred on him just about a month ago has been confirmed to have died in his sleep in home in Malaysia by family source.

We unfortunately received very misleading information which we regrettably published believing to be true as at the time of the publication [read here], until subsequent information proved otherwise that our earlier informant who gave us the story was only a mischief maker who was bent on tarnishing the image of reputable man for reasons best known to him and his cohorts.

We have received several phone calls from close friends and family members of the late Chief, who all confirmed that Chief was a credible businessman who dealt in diapers "Goodluck Diapers" and other goods

Chief Izuchukwu, who was only 36 years old, left behind a very young wife and three   children

His association, Ohaneze Ndigbo n Malaysia has also already issued a statement mourning his painful and untimely departure.  See below

Chief Nwajiaku- The End of an era

It was a very dark Sunday! The blackest we have ever had in Malaysia. It will remain a sad day as long as we live. It's indeed very hard to write about him in past tense as he has been part and parcel of me- my past, my present and I thought would have been part of the future. However, the onus lies on me to announce to our people the untimely death of our friend, brother, uncle, father, inlaw , pillar and the Ezendigbo of Malaysia, Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku whose sad but painful death occurred on Sunday 23rd October 2016.

Chief Nwajiaku was the rallying point for the emergence of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Malaysia in 2013 following the disbandment of the previous one in 2010. Before the emergence of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Malaysia Chief Nwajiaku along with others made a famous proclamation that no descent of Igbo man shall be buried in Malaysia no matter what happened. This pronouncement was followed by action as he was seen in almost all wake keeping in Malaysia to raise fund to evacuate dead bodies of our people back home, whether he knows the deceased or not. His frequent prayer has always been that no Igbo man or woman who sojourned into the land of Malaysia shall go home a corpse but ironically Chief would be going home as a corpse!

His kindhearted heart was a source of inspiration to to everyone in Ohaneze and all that have cross his path. His benevolence was not limited to the Igbo community as it extends to all other Africans in Malaysia and the world at large. His face was that face that have remain ever constant in any event organized in African community of Malaysia. He would always be the first to put a call across each time there was problem concerning an Africa in Malaysia, asking not only questions on what happened but the solution.

Back home at his home town Ozubulu, at youthful age of 36, his philanthropy is legendary as could be seen from number of people he impacted on their lives & the infrastructures that he left behind and those he inspired. The Church are not left out, the legacy he left at his Anglican church in his community would always bear him testimony of his love for the church

Chief Nwajiaku, the custodian of Igbo culture in Malaysia and lover of anything Igbo is survived by his beautiful & lovely Queen Ifeyinwa "Utondu", a son & two pretty daughters! He would be surely be missed

Further information would be published as we put heads together with his family & community on his burial arrangement.

Rest in Perfect Peace Eze Ndigbo, Nwanne ma Nwanneya, Omelu Umu Ogbenye, Ezi Oyim Ka odiba!

Signed:

Comrade Biafra Buchi Diboh

Note:

We therefore, like to use this medium once again to plead with you our numerous readers to kindly disregard our earlier publication which would have dented the image of a good man, if friends and family members did not reach out to us on time, and also plead with you all to  help us share this story to help clear the air of any misgivings the first story may have caused to the image of this honourable man.

For the sake God and pity for this fellow who gave us the first misleading report, we have   decided to still hold back his identity, but subsequent wicked informants like this one, may not be so lucky to escape the wrath of security operatives for feeding us with lies. Please if you are not sure of a story, do not sending it to us, we detest fake news and would not  allow our platform to be used to disseminate hate and personal grievances.

Once again, our sincerest apologies to the family of Chief Izuchukwu Nwajiaku, and may you all kindly accept our condolences on the departure of your loved one. God bless

See below,  a few more photos from Chief's Coronation just August 30th, 2016 and Inauguration of his association in 2015 ... so sad.
