Taxi drivers operating under the aegis of Akwa Ibom State Private Carb/Taxi Operators, in Akwa Ibom Wednesday morning marched round the
streets, accusing government of placing illegal and multiple financial
burden on them.
The operators, who marched out in their numbers with placards, went to the state house of Assembly , to register their grievances.

Luke, while addressing The commercial taxi drivers, urged the union to
write formally to the ministry of Transports and copy the state House
as well as the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel,
assuring them that given the genuineness of their complaints, the House as
well as the state Governor was going to step in and address the
