Alleged wife killer Lekan Shonde granted an interview with Punch yesterday claiming that he only pushed his wife and didn't beat her to death. He also alleged that the late wife was cheating on him and described to him vividly how her lover slept with her in a hotel in Abuja. He also claimed she was abusive. Ronke Shonde's family say this is not true. A family source who spoke with LIB said;
"I think what he's trying to do is put up a defence mechanism to make him feel like he's the victim here. Everything he said in the interview is a lie. The family will tell their own side of the story when the time is right. All we want him to do now is show up"
