HOME REMEDIES THAT HELP CURE STUBBORN ACNE

 

The most problematic skin problem in the Nigeria and many major countries nowadays is the stubborn Acne. Whether it is zits, blackheads, blemishes, whiteheads or pimples, these all are considered to be one as acne. Almost 40-50 million people become victim of this prone skin disease at one time. It is mostly visible on the face but can frequently occur on different parts of the body such as neck, back, chest, arms, buttocks and shoulders.



Acne mostly affects during puberty and is not limited to any specific gender. Both boys and girls can have it at any point of age. ·        OATMEAL:
Oatmeal is one of the natural foods that are extremely beneficial in the treatment of acne and its related problems. It is best to reduce blemishes, absorbs excess oil and cleanses the skin stubborn pores. If used properly it can deeply exfoliate your skin. Following is method to use oatmeal for acne treatment:
o   Take some cooked oatmeal and add a teaspoon of honey and a juice of lemon.
o   Mix all the ingredients well and gently rub it over your skin.
o   Leave the mask for about 30 minutes and then carefully clean it with lukewarm water.
o   Repeat this process once r twice a week.

·        BAKING SODA:
Sodium bicarbonate which is also known as baking soda works excellent for gently exfoliating your skin and treating acne. It cleans the dead skin by unplugging the pores. It also balances the pH level of the skin and also works as an amazing antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent. All of these properties make it an amazing skin cleanser.
o   Take 2 tablespoon of baking soda and little rose water to form a paste.
o   Gently rub your face with this paste and keep it on until it is completely dry.
o   Wash it with lukewarm water and pat dry your face.
o   You can also add some honey and cinnamon powder for much better results.

·        TOOTHPASTE:
Toothpaste which we normally use for the cleaning of our teeth can be very affective on the acne. It is best to clear up the acne and will give smooth texture to the skin due to its fluoride content.  It can be one of the easiest home remedies of all times.
o   Wash your face properly and apply toothpaste on your acne using your finger tip.
o   Keep it overnight and wash your face the next morning.
o   It will not only dry your acne but will also cleanse your skin properly.
o   Try this remedy daily for some quick effective results.

·        ORANGE PEEL:
Acne can be very well treated if we use some orange peel. Being high in acetic acid and vitamin C, orange has some amazing antioxidant properties that will let you clean your skin thoroughly. Orange juice can also be use for the same purpose along with orange peel. Let us see how we can use it to get the perfect skin:
o   Peel off the orange and keep these peels directly under sunlight.
o   Let it dry completely and grind it to form powder.
o   Take two table spoons of this orange powder and mix it with some water.
o   Form a paste and apply it on your face.
o   Let it dry and wash your face with lukewarm water.
o   You can also add some honey for better results.

·        ALOE VERA:
Anti-inflammatory and soothing properties of aloe vera can treat your acne properly within a few days. Aloe vera can also help you heal the painful scars caused by acne. Aloe vera is easily available in the market and you can grow can comfortably in your back yard or in a small pot. You just have to cut one leaf and use it for any purpose.
o   Take an aloe vera leave and cut it half.
o   Take one half and rub the gel all over your face.
o   Keep it for 30 minutes and then wash your face with water.
o   Pat it dry and apply a good moisturizer.
o   Use this method at least three times a week.
o   Some of you wonder, what causes dark circles under eyes , don't worry as you can use aloe vera to reduce the dullness and puffiness under your eyes.

·        INDIAN LILAC:
Indian lilac which is commonly known as neem is a very effective herb and is best used for to cure many skin problems. It contains antimicrobial and antiseptic properties that kill the annoying bacteria which causes acne. It also reduces redness and skin breakout.
o   Take some tender neem leaves and add a little water to form a paste.
o   Also add some turmeric in the paste and apply the face pack on the prone skin.
o   Leave it for 20 minutes or until dry.
o   Wash your face with lukewarm water.
o   Follow this method at least twice a week.

·        FENUGREEK:
Other the cooking purpose fenugreek is also amazingly used for the treatment of stubborn acne due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. You just need it properly using the right method. Let us see how we can use it more effectively.
o   Grind some fresh fenugreek leaves and water to form a paste.
o   Apply this amazing herbal paste on the affected area.
o   Leave it to dry completely and then wash your face.
o   You will see the results in just a few days.
o   Instead of fenugreek leaves you can also use its seeds to form a thick paste.
o   Add in some honey for better and effective results.
o   Try out this method two or three times a week to see some great results.
