The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Kanke Local Government Area of Plateau State has been burnt by some aggrieved supporters of the party.
The aggrieved youths were also said to have destroyed President Goodluck Jonathan and Senator Gyang Pwajok’s campaign posters.
The cause of the incident which took place on New Year day was linked to an alleged diversion of some Christmas and New Year gifts meant for the people of the local government by government and party officials.

The security guards attached to the PDP secretariat were reportedly absent at the time of the incident.
