Pope Francis Condemns Those Who Use Religion To Violate Human Rights, ‘Christians’ says they have Miss The Point

 In one of Pope Francis’ tour in Turkey, His Holiness sharply condemned ISIS’ “barbaric violence” against Christians and other non-Muslim minorities, and denounced those who use religion as an excuse to violate human rights:

    “As religious leaders, we are obliged to denounce all violations against human dignity and human rights… As such, any violence which seeks religious justification warrants the strongest condemnation because the Omnipotent is the God of life and peace.”

The Blaze adds that that while Pope Francis urges leaders to explore a peace process through interfaith dialog, he also cautiously supports using force against ISIS.

    Francis sought to offer a balanced message as he met with Turkish political and religious officials at the start of his second trip to the Middle East this year. He reaffirmed that military force was justified to halt the Islamic State group’s advance, and called for greater dialogue between Christians, Muslims and people of all faiths to end fundamentalism.

Of course, The Blaze’s right-wing, so-called “Christian” readers strongly agree with the “military force” part of Pope Francis’ message, but the parts about human rights and ending all forms of fundamentalism sailed right over their heads. It doesn’t even occur to these hypocrites that here in America, we violate human dignity and human rights every single day, thanks to the conservative policies they aggressively support.
