Former Foreign Minister of Affairs, Gbenga Ashiru Dies at 66

 

The 66 year old Gbenga Ashiru have been battling with Cancer for a very long time. Unfortunately he gave up his life in the early hours of Saturday, November 29, 2014.
Ashiru served as a minister from 2011 to 2013 and was Nigeria’s ambassador to South Korea in 1991 and South Africa in 2005.

The publisher and cofounder of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu tweeted about the sad news on Twitter:

“I’ve received the sad news of the death of Ex-Foreign Affairs Minister OTUNBA GBENGA ASHIRU, 66, in South Africa. May he Rest in Peace!”

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
