Tragedy struck along Oguola road in Benin yesterday, as a deaf and dumb woman who selling along the road was crushed to death by a Honda car.
Eye witness report says, the driver of the vehicle was on top speed when he ran into the woman who was trading by the road side.
According them, angry youths could not hold back their anger, overturned the car and set it ablaze, as this appeared to be the only way they could express themselves, since they neither talk nor hear.
The amputated leg of the victim was found on top of the car, which prompted the angry mob who were also deaf and dumb to destroy the vehicle, before setting it ablaze.
The presence of the Nigerian police however could not save the situation, as the youth who were also deaf and dumb people, chased them away.
The woman died on the way to the hospital, while the driver of the Hunda car has been arrested by the police.
