Father who turned daughter into his sex slave for 2 years, arrested

A father who turned his daughter into his sex slave for 2 years, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command after the victim exposed him.

It was gathered that the man who deflowered his daughter in 2016 when she was 14 and continued having sex with her till 2018, initially denied until the victim was brought before him and he reportedly confessed.

According to the girl, she bore the trauma and found it difficult to expose her father who has been arrested and detained at the Gender Section of the State Police Command, Lagos, because of the ‘shame’ it will bring to the family.

The father who pleaded for forgiveness claiming that he was tempted by the devil to do so, was charged before the Ogba Magistrates court for defilement and incest. After the prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, informed the court that the defendant was the father of the victim and requested that the file be sent to DPP for advice, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, did not take the man’s plea and bail because of the seriousness of the offence.

While the incest victim who was turned into a sex slave was taken to the rehabilitation centre for treatment, her father was remanded in prison custody and the magistrate directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to DPP for advice.

It was also reported few months ago, that two men, Olawale Ibitoye and Ashiru Amusat, were arrested and detained at the Human Rights Unit of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly defiling their daughters.

Ibitoye, 45, was arrested at Ketu area of Epe for having canal knowledge of his 14-year-old daughter, while Amusat, 65, was nabbed at Shasha for allegedly sleeping with his 12-year-old daughter at Shasha area of Egbeda. It was gathered that Ibitoye, who had been defiling his daughter since she was 8 years old, had subsequently married her off to one Moses Okurukpe.
