Saga Gist mourns Kofi Annan, commiserates with Ghana, family

A Multimedia House, Saga Gist has condoled the renowned diplomat and two time Secretary General of the United Nation, Kofi Annan family as well as the government of Ghana and the whole Africa.

The online newspaper, made it known in a condolence message issued and signed by the Head of Public relations of the media house, Samuel Olaleye.

Saga Gist described the late Annan as a quintessential leader and accomplished diplomat, who dedicated his lifetime to the progress of humanity.


The condolence message reads thus; "The Management of Saga Gist mourns Kofi Annan. This death is indeed one too many as Kofi is a key advocate of conflict prevention and resolution."

The message also commiserated with the family of the Diplomat while calling on African Youths to pursue peace and avoid violence.

"We wish to commiserate with the family of Kofi Annan and pray that God Almighty grant them the strength to bear the loss of this Nobel laureate".

Annan, a recipient of the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize, died at age of 80 peacefully in his sleep on Saturday after a short illness.

Saga Gist management prayed that the Almighty God will comfort his family and all his loved ones.
