A Multimedia company, Saga Gist on Sunday sympathised with the Popular musician Yinka Ayefele over the demolition of his radio station and music studios by the Oyo state government.
Saga Gist's sympathy was contained in a statement issued by the Head of Public relations of the media house, Samuel Olaleye. The statement reads, “On behalf of the good people of Oyo state, the management of Saga Gist conveys its heartfelt sympathy to Yinka Ayefele.
"The practice of breaking down, instead of restoring and building existing structures is a waste of resources. Its one of the causes for under-development and abject poverty in the country. “Governor Abiola Ajimobi should either provide a replacement for the Music house or compensate Yinka Ayefele for demolishing the multimillion building.”
Saga Gist had reported that the building belonging to Ayefele was demolished at about 4:30am on Sunday by the Oyo state government for allegedly contravening its town planning laws.
