President of Nigerian Bar Association addresses Hijab issue, shares daughter’s induction photo



Following the Hijab controversy sparked after photos of hijab wearing ladies passing out of the Nigerian Law School surfaced, the President of Nigerian Bar Association A. B Mahmoud, has addressed the issue sharing photos of his daughter in New York.


According to him, the controversy on hijab is needless, and the NBA will embrace diversity and tolerance in the Nigerian legal profession. Here are his tweets;






This is coming after Student of the Nigerian Law from the University of Ilorin by name Amasa Firdaus, was denied being called to the Nigerian bar by the Body of Benchers on the 12th day of December, 2017, after she insisted on wearing her wig on top of her Hijab.
