According to multiple reports, robbers attacked Sterling bank Abak Road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, one woman was shot by the robbers. The young woman was reportedly hit by a stray bullet.
The incident occurred at about 4.30pm yesterday, with the gunmen shooting sporadically to scare away passers-by.
It is not clear yet whether the robbers were successful in carting away money.
The incident came few hours after Mr. Zubairu Muazu assumed duty as the new Commissioner of Police in Akwa Ibom State.
