Nigeria's Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung Spotted 'rubbing Minds' With Young Patriots Who Fixed Potholes On Government Road on their Behalf

Nigeria's Minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung shared this very intriguing post on Facebook .
According to the minister, he got out of his car to speak with poor kids who were fixing potholes on government roads that they shouldn't be doing in the first place. Then the minister gave them money to encourage them, had a conversation with them and described it as 'patriotism'.

Read his post below...

'I found something patriotically fascinating about these children, so I disembarked from the car to take a closer look at what they were doing. The road had some potholes and in their wisdom, they took out time to fill-up the potholes even with no financial rewards. This got me enthralled and I offered them my widow's mite but most importantly we rubbed minds on issues that concerned their wellbeing & education.
I shall make a follow up to promote this noble spirit. Our patriotism as Nigerians was originally like this, so selfless until it got compromised at adulthood. As we work towards correcting the dysfunctional system, noble characters typical of these children's own must be encouraged.

May God bless my country Nigeria. Amen'.
What do you think of the Minister's statement on patriotism? Shouldn't govt be fixing roads with tax-payers monies they collect? and is it the first time the minister is passing that road?
