Governor Udom's aide resigns After Being Appointed for 18 Months without an Office

A Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Electoral Matters (Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District), Barrister Chris Okorie has resigned his appointment.

According to reports, the aide, Barr. Okorie said since his appointment in December 2015, he was yet to be assigned roles commensurate with his office/pedigree and was not assigned office.

He said he was left redundant in his office, hence his resignation on June 28, 2017.

In a letter addressed to the Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel through the Secretary to the State Government, Sir Etekamba Umoren, Barr Okorie thanked the governor for the opportunity and prays the working conditions for aides improves in the future.
