Group Petitions Edo CPS, John Mayaki, Jack Obinyan, others for alleged N13.5 million Fraud

 An NGO Edo based group under the auspice of Face to Face Initiative has written to the EFCC demanding the immediate probe of Edo state interim Chief Press Secretary Jahn Mayaki for alleged misappropriation of Funds.

In a letter written and forwarded to the EFCC by a legal firm C.O Igbenedion & Co, the group is accusing the CPS of embezzling the  sum of N13.5 million claimed to have been spent on the media by the state government. 

A few days ago, a reporter from ThisDay News paper,by the name Adibe Emenyonu claimed that he had proof that state CPS had embezzled the said N13.2 million under the guise of media coverage.

Following his claims, we spoke with the state interim CPS who however debunked the story alleging claims of blackmail against his person. He however insisted the Mr. Adibe Emenyonu made his so-called proof public if indeed he had any. 

But the NGO, Face to Face Initiative is claiming they have done everything they can to get hold of the said evidence, which  Mr. Mayaki is doing everything possible to cover up. 

We however do not know if these claims are based on accurate findings or sheer vendetta for the person of the CPS as sources close to government house have revealed to us that, the CPS recently stopped all brown envelopes usually given to pressmen who visit government house. 

The letter is also accusing one Jack Obinyan, one of APC's foremost supporters on social media who left Germany to return to state to play the role errant boy to the APC government. Mr. Jack is being accused of working in cahoot with Mr. Mayaki to embezzle government funds.  see more details in the photos.
