US Director of Defence Intelligence Agency, Lt.-Gen. Vincent Steward has praised the Nigerian army for defeating the Boko Haram group and chasing them out of Sambisa.
This is according to a statement issued by Director Defence Information, Brig.-Gen. Rabe Abubakar.
He said the US intelligence chief was in Nigeria to meet with the military's leadership in a bit to collaborate with them in areas of security.
The US army chief also pledged to support the military's efforts to eradicate all activities of Boko Haram in Nigeria.
