Bauchi's Commissioner of Budget and Planning Resigns

  

Shehu Barau Ningi, Bauchi state Commissioner of Budget and planning has resigned his position.

His resignation is coming a few days after Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar presented the 2017 budget to the state House of Assembly.

Addressing journalist over his decision to resign his appointment, Ningi alleged that he was not given an enabling environment to function effectively as commissioner. He further alleged that there is also an unjustified deliberate marginalisation of himself and his supporters who had contributed to the governor’s victory at the polls that brought him to power.
