OMG: See How Sterling bank Security Assaulted and Injured a Customer at the ATM Point in Lagos

  

I received this from a reader, who apparently witnessed what he described as the most barbaric assault on an innocent citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who had stopped at Stirling Bank to use the ATM 

According to him;

Yesterday Friday 29 July , at around 3-4 pm , I witness an injustice, abuse and total disrespect of an

innocent Nigerian by security guards of Sterling bank Alagbole branch.  The young Nigerian had walked into sterling bank Alagbole Akute branch premises to use the ATM , he was on the line waiting to use the ATM, and he had his head phones on , the next thing , one of the security guards walked up to him and was telling something , but because of the headset , I guess the young man could not hear him, so after some minutes of talking , the young Nigerian noticed the security guard and removed the headset , and answered the security guard, and the security guard for no reason started insulting the young man .

An altercation developed , and before you knew it it turned to a fight , and all the other security bank guards and police attached to the bank were there, they made no attempt to stop the fight because they taught one of theirs would beat the young Nigeria , but when they realized there own man was been over powered , they all descended on this young Nigerian youth , broker his headset , wrist watch , phone and tore his cloths .

One of the policemen attached to the bank even slammed the butt of his gun on the youngman's head, the  bank staffs even with the CCTV footage still took side with their security guards knowing fully well their security men were at fault and labeling the young man an armed robber , when he wasn't even armed and after injuring him and destroying his properties and said they were going to lock him up 

It took several intervention from other customers before the young man was let go .Its really a shame , that in this age and time , Sterling bank Alagbole branch will treat a bank customer in this manner .please investigate and address this injustice by sterling bank.. 

 I wonder what kind of bank is it that assaults her customers in such a flimsy manner and expect the customer to return and do business with them. 

we called the young man in question to verify this claims and he confirmed our reader's story to be true, he says he was badly beaten for no just cause, and this is truly sad in this age and time, and someone needs to look into this matter to deter Stirling and other banks from swiping on customers for no just cause.  

Meanwhile, its also necessary for young people to learn that the use of loud headphones in public places could endanger their lives. If you must use a headphone in public, pls pls pls led the volume be very low to avoid falling victim of accident, yesterday this young man was beaten by bank security guards, tomorrow is could be a car, cow or even a horse that knocks you down. so pls guys lets be careful with these things, "accident no de send message".
