In this exclusive clip from Sahara Reporters, the families of late Ronke Shonde, who was allegedly beaten to death on Thursday by her husband, Lekan Shonde, have said that the husband has been calling from his hiding place and asking to see his children for a last time
The deceased’s famIily said statements suggest that he is apprehensive about turning himself in and he might be up to attempting suicide. They said Ronke’s mother has “forgiven him”.
Meanwhile, Lekan has been arrested by the Lagos Police command. [see]

Eyah! Despite what he has done to their daughter, the family was still telling him not to harm himself. I respect what the family has done.but its a shame to hear that it was the wife's family that suggested for his calls to be traced...what was the police thinking?????....
