Na Wah Oh: Nasarawa State Govt, Sacks Worker Over Social Media Comment [photos]

This is really crazy, A lady on twitter has cried out after the Nasarawa State government terminated her appointment over social media comment. According to her, she had criticized the government's lack of concern for the death of a nurse by name Ibraham Oshafu who apparently died of lasser fever in the state.

But unfortunately, her bold step and outspokenness landed her a sack from her office. She shared the termination letter given to her on twitter with the caption "This is the termination letter given to by the Nasarawa State Government. Free speech is not a crime".

See snapshot of her earlier post that got her fired below, and her termination letter above.

  1. Too bad,we do not have freedom of speech here at all, never mind how the Nigerian constitution pretends about that.

  2. Incredible! In this day and age? Someone gets fired for waking government up to its responsibilities? She should sue for wrongful termination

  3. Every wicked man won't last on the throne not even Pharoah that want to kill Jesus Christ. Dear Governor, the best you could have done was to work with the question and comment she made. The people have the right to question your governance if they are not satisfied. You will have to sack the whole workers of Nasarawa state. You've just proven that you a boss and not a leader.
