According to PremiumTimes, President Goodluck Jonathan has congratulated APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari on his victory in the Saturday election.
It is reported that an APC chieftains said President Jonathan called at exactly 5:15pm to congratulate Buhari in Abuja, and assured him of maximum cooperation and smooth transition.
Jonathan has also called National leader of the APC, Senator Bola Tinubu to congratulate him on his party’s victory at the poll.
