AIG zone 6, Rivers State visit Channels TV Reporter Who was Stabbed on the Neck as part of On-going Investigations into alleged shooting at APC rally.

    

Investigations have begun into the alleged shooting that took place at the APC rally last week where a police office was killed and others injured, including a reporter from Channels Tv who was stabbed on the neck. [see]

A look at the reporter actually shows, the hospital has done a good job on him  as he is fast recuperating. [photo below] 

Meanwhile, the AIG who spoke to the press said they  are set for a full  investigations in to the crisis. "we have commenced  and we are trying to put the pieces together , so as to go into in-depth investigation. people should have confidence that we would do a good job".  he said. 

In a related development, the Rivers State Chapeter of the NUJ, also met to condemn the incessant attack on journalists in the country.  Members who spoke in Rivers State  decried the delibrate attacks targeted at journalists in the county,  saying though they were aware of the IG's directives to have the matter investigated; it was rather unfortunate that our politics had generated to the situation where human lives no longer had value.   see more photos below.
