The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested 4 security guards guarding the home of Bilyaminu Bello, late son of a former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairman, who was stabbed to death on Sunday by his wife. This arrest follows a recovery of CCTV footage showing the last moments of the diseased .
Bello was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife, Maryam Sanda over allegations of infidelity after she read a text message on his phone.
The politician’s son was said to have been rejected by two hospitals before he was finally pronounced dead.
An police source confirmed recovery of the CCTV footage to Punch.
He said,
“We have been able to obtain the footage and it shows the suspect and three private security guards conveying him (Bilyaminu) into a vehicle from where he was rushed to a hospital.”
