The founder and General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Lazarus Muoka a Nigerian pastor, minister and author invited the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu to his church for blessing as he fights and agitates for the restoration of Biafra sovereignty.
Nnamdi Kanu was given an heroic welcome by the members of the church, they were showering prayers and encomium of praise on him

I do not however agree with him on EVERYTHING and neither do I share his views about President Goodluck Jonathan.

Nigeria Now In State Of Emergency, Says Dogara

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, on Monday raised an alarm over the deployment of military personnel in over 28 states in the country.

Dogara said the development was an indication that Nigeria was already in a state of emergency in peacetime.

The Speaker expressed shock over the growing trend of soldiers taking over civil and security duties
constitutionally reserved for the Nigeria Police.

Borno IDP Records 3000 Births In Six Months!

The Borno State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, yesterday, said it registered 3,000 births among internally-displaced persons, IDPs, in the past six months. The SEMA Chairman, Satomi Ahmad, who disclosed this in Maiduguri, said the births were registered at various camps located in the state capital between January and June.


He explained that the birth records showed significant increase due to the high number of couples at the camps, adding that “the mothers were supported with drugs and reproductive kits.” The SEMA boss said the agency was working in collaboration with the state’s Ministry of Health to support
expectant mothers and enhance reproductive health management in the camps.

The troops successfully dealt with the terrorists and pursued those that escaped and recovered 2 AK-47 Rifles and 2 magazines of 9 round of ammunition, 2 AGL bombs, several empty cases of Shilka gun ammunition, AGL bomb and 1 damaged mobile phone handset.

Lady Saves Robber Who Almost Stabbed Her to Death from Being Lynched [video]

A thief got "lucky" after he was caught trying to rob a lady of her phone. After he was nabbed, his captors put tyre round his neck and brought fuel to light him up. The  thief who was abandoned by his gang member - was beaten to pulp with blood oozing out from his body as he began to cry knowing what awaited him...

The lady whom the young man tried to stab in the course of the robbery said 'No to jungle justice'. She said that the police should handle the matter so the young man will go to jail.

Nigerian doctor returns N2.1m excess arrears paid to her account (PHOTO)




Dr. Okolo Oteri Eme, a Consultant Ophthalmologist resident in Abuja returned 2.1 Million Naira excess arrears paid to her account by her employer. Petra Akinti Onyegbule, the Chief Press Secretary to Kogi State Governor, confirmed the report on her Facebook on Saturday.

North Korea tests another missile, Donald Trump can't do anything about it

North Korea test-fired another ballistic missile, Tuesday morning from a site in North Korea’s North Phyongan province, according to U.S. Pacific Command, defying international pressure. The launch was made, the missile was tracked for 37 minutes and landed in the Sea of Japan. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has now launched more missiles in one year than his father launched during 17 years in power. 

The rate and variety of tests has alarmed experts, who see the launches as part of an effort to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the United States. This defiance by North Korea displeased US President Tump who took to Twitter to express his displeasure. He wrote:

Peace Mass bus crushes man to death in Enugu (Graphic Photos)

A man yesterday met his untimely death in Enugu State, as he was crushed by a bus belonging to Peace Mass Transit.
The man, whose identity could not be immediately ascertained, was standing along White House Junction, Trans ekulu in Enugu East LGA when the bus lost control and rammed into him. See the graphic photos below...

Former Abacha Spokesperson, David Attah Is Dead

A former chief press secretary to late military head of state, Sani Abacha, David Attah, is dead.


Mr. Attah, who also served as spokesperson to Mr. Abacha’s successor, former military ruler, Abdulsalami Abubakar, died early this morning, his son, Emmanuel Attah, said.

He also said he disclosed he died at a private hospital in Jos, where he was receiving treatment.

'If Buhari can’t afford his UK hospital bills, more than 20 million Nigerians will contribute to pay for it' - Rochas Okorocha says

Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, says if President Buhari cannot afford to pay his UK hospital bills, 20 million Nigerians will come together to contribute the money required. Okorocha said this in a recent interview. He was reacting to comments made by some Nigerians that President Buhari was using tax payers money to pay for his medical bill in the UK. He said:

"If today there is an announcement that President Buhari lacks the money to treat himself abroad, believe me, more than 20 million Nigerians will contribute for his health. So this is neither here nor there.

South African pastor Lesego Daniels makes members eat flowers (photos)

Dangote Did Not Pay N100 Million Bribe To Save Emir Sanusi - Spokesperson

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, says allegation of bribery linked to him is “all falsehood”.

Mr. Dangote said a committee set up by the Kano State House of Assembly to probe the bribery allegation should not waste its time.

Etisalat Nigeria Constitutes New Board of Directors [FULL LIST]

Etisalat Nigeria on Tuesday confirmed the constitution of a new board of directors. The board has Joseph Nnanna and chairman, replacing Hakeem Osagie-Bello.

Boye Olusanya was appointed as chief executive officer to replace Matthew Willsher, while Funke Ighodaro was named to take over from Olawole Obasunloye as chief finance officer.

Other members are Oluseyi Bickersteth and Ken Igbokwe.

The House of Representatives has summoned the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to appear before it over his recent comments about the National Assembly and the 2017 budget. Fashola and the National Assembly have engaged in a war of words in the last one week, over the adjustment of the Ministries 2017 budget presented to the house for screening.

Fashola had challenged the authority of the National Assembly members to insert projects that his ministries did not include in the 2017 budget.

Court frees Ndume from Terrorism charges

Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed the four charges of terrorism brought against the immediate past leader of the Senate, Senator Ali Ndume. The senator representing Borno South in the Senate, was charged to court during the last administration over allegations of sponsoring Boko Haram and also withholding information on terrorism activities in Borno state.

Delivering judgment in the case today, Justice Kolawole set Ndume free on the grounds that no prima facie case was established against him. He added that the prosecution team had failed to prove that he indeed had links with the sect.

EFCC arrests former Jigawa State Governor, Saminu Turaki

A former governor of Jigawa State, Senator Saminu Turaki was this afternoon, July 4, 2017 arrested by agents of EFCC.

He was picked up at the venue of the public presentation of a book on Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari, the first regular combatant officer in the Nigerian Army, in Abuja.
Before the arrest, EFCC has had to declare Turaki wanted for failing to present himself for trial since 2011 on 36 counts corruption charge before the Federal High Court, Dutse.

VP Osinbajo declares Support for EFCC acting chairman Ibrahim Magu, But the Senate Doesn't Like His Audacity

  Despite the senate's rejection of acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday stated that he and President Buhari are fully in support of the acting Chairman of EFCC.

Osinbajo said this while speaking to some journalists at the state house in Abuja. According to him, President Buhari has not called for Magu's replacement because he doesn't find the DSS report which indicted him of some wrongdoings, enough reasons to do so.
Recall that the senate last month rejected Magu's nomination as EFCC Chairman on the basis of the DSS report that accused Magu of corruption and living a lifestyle that is above his means. Osinbajo in the interview said Magu can be re-presented to the senate for screening and confirmation.

Three Worshipers Die During Deliverance Service in Delta State

Three people have died during a deliverance service session at a church located in the outskirt of Warri, Delta state, police says.

Delta State's Police Command PRO, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed this to journalists on Tuesday.

Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu Reportedly Arrested For Drunk-Driving, Driver’s License

Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu has been arrested at his base in Israel allegedly for driving while under the influence of alcohol. His driver’s license has since been suspended for 30 days.

According to Israeli publication ONE, Ogu was arrested on Friday when he failed a routine alcohol test after he was stopped by the police. He is expected to be sanctioned by his club Hapoel Be’er Sheva after he informed them of the incident.
