Breaking: Four dead, 20 injured in UK parliament "terrorist" attack [photos]

At least four people were killed and  and 20 injured in London today after a car plowed into pedestrians and an attacker stabbed a policeman close to the British parliament in what police called a "marauding terrorist attack." 
                               
The dead included the assailant and the policeman he stabbed, while the other two victims were among the pedestrians hit by the car as it tore along Westminster Bridge before crashing into railings just outside parliament.

78 graduates bag first class in the University of Port Harcourt


  78 graduates of the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, have recorded a great milestone as they will be conferred with First Class degrees at this year’s convocation of the institution.

Speaking at a media parley ahead of the convocation scheduled for Saturday next week, Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Ndowa Lale, made the revelation.

Society commends Obaseki's support to Dialysis Centre ..... 'It no favour but my responsibility' – Obaseki says

St. Vincent De Paul’s Society of St. Paul’s Parish in Benin City, yesterday, commended Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki for his efforts to vivify a dialysis centre in the state, with the governor noting that he was simply doing his duty.

Highlighting the governor’s efforts to actualising the dialysis centre, Mrs Betsy Onojah revealed that in 2016, he supported the society to establish the centre and render affordable health service in the state.

She noted that the society was yet to make the centre active due to lack of generators to kick-start the project hence the appeal to the governor for assistance. This was as she also revealed that the governor had graciously agreed to support the society with the needed facilities to ensure that the centre becomes operational by April 1, this year.

Reports have emerged that Dr. Alwell Orji, the medical practitioner who took his life last Sunday by jumping into the Lagos Lagoon, had attempted suicide a number of times.
