Western Cameroon Teen Becomes First African to Win Google Hacking Competition

Despite the crippling Internet shutdown which occurred in the English speaking part of Cameroon   some weeks now; Collins Nji a 17 year-old Upper Sixth student at the Government Bilingual High School Bamenda succeeded in emerging as the first Black and African Grand Prize Winner for the Google Code-In 2016 contest.

The Google Code In is a competition for Pre-university students aged between 13 to 17 where students are given a variety a variety of bit-sized tasks to hack open source software.

Hajiya Rakiya, the only surviving elder sister of President Muhammad Buhari, has appealed to Nigerians to continue to pray for the well being of the President, instead of spreading rumours about his health.
 
In an interview with a correspondent of the News agency of Nigeria in Daura, Katsina state, the 84-year-old said the president needed the prayers of every Nigerian for him to succeed in the task of addressing the problems facing the nation.

Cross-Dressing and Nigerian youths

Our youths are always importing fashions and habits from abroad, copying trends and adopting them as their own. The end result is that sometimes they often look ridiculous and out of place.
 
The latest fashion craze some men have copied from abroad is cross-dressing. Call me old-fashion or old but where I come from men wear trousers and shirts and women wear dresses and make-up; not the other way round (-unless for religious reasons!)

Fani-Kayode Blasts Lai Mohammed, Says he is a Very Sick Man

Nigeria's Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has lashed out at Minister of Information Lai Mohammed for his comments over Christian safety in Nigeria.

According to him, the Minister is a liar and a sick man.

"Lying Lai Mohammed claims it is a fallacy to say that Muslims kill Christians in Nigeria. He is not just a liar but also a very SICK man." he tweeted.
