ASABA - The Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter, Comrade Kenneth Okorie has advised Youths in the State to work towards promoting industrial revolutions and attaining leadership positions for sustainable development in Delta State, Nigeria and the rest of the world.
The State Chairman, Comrade Kenneth Okorie Spoke to Newsmen as four different groups in a separate occasions during a courtesy call in his office at Asaba on 29th September, 2017 to partner with Delta State Chapter of NYCN torwards promoting effective and efficient Youth Development in the State.

Comrade Kenneth Okorie, who addressed differently the leadership of Nigeria Youth coalition led by its president, prince Umuina, the Leadership of PDP grassroots support foundation led by its National Co-ordinator, Adaka Richard, State Co-ordinator, Hon. Precious Onome Ejenake, the leadership of Igbide Community Youths, Isoko South L.G.A of Delta State led by its secretary General, Comrade Silver Onuje Ewhese, and the Leadership of supreme Nigeria Limited, led by its representatives, Miss Omosun Zuma as the Council Pledges support and partnership with them to promote Youth Development.

The Groups has stated that their major reason for the visit is to partner with the leadership NYCN, Delta State Chapter to promote Youth Development, Employment opportunities, and engagements torwards sustainable programmes for the Youths.

Comr. Kenneth Okorie has advised the leadership of Nigerian Youths coalition to use their forth -coming programs in October 15th, 2017 on peace building conference to influence the Youths towards taken up leadership positions by way of contesting the L.G.As elections instead of soiling their hands by engaging in political thuggery and election violence.

On the other hand, the chairman who also advises the leadership of PDP Grassroots foundation who has identified the need to support the Youths on programmes that would be of benefits to them towards reducing the rate of unemployment and enhancing a discipline society irrespective of political parties.

Adding that the Youth Council under his leadership would support and partner with them on the forth coming environmental sanitation exercise tagged to” keep Delta Clean”.

The Chairman who also advised the conflicting communities, land dispute between Igbide and Enwhe in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State to embrace peace and shield their swords as that is the only way progress can come to the communities. He stated that Youths should avoid been used to perpetrate mayhem in the society.

Comr. Kenneth Okorie has noted that the council would embark on sensitization tour in the three senatorial districts of the State, especially in Isoko – South to initiate peace building processes that would remove fear of the unknown from every Delta Youths.

Consequent upon this, he advised the leadership of supreme Nigeria Limited whose mission is on welfare management, human capacity building, entrepreneurship skills to unfold programmes that would promote Youth development in the state as the council is open for them for towards global partnership.

He therefore advised the Youths in the state to key into the State Government empowerment programmes on entrepreneurship as certificate alone would not give them the need growth development, employment opportunities rather ensure that they drive towards industrial revolutions and aspire for leadership position in the society.
