Edo House of Rep Member, Omosede Igbinedion Compares Osinbajo's visit to Benue flood victims To US VP's visit to Hurricane-ravaged Texas [Photos]
House of Reps Member and daughter of Esama of Benin, Omosede Igbinedion took to Instagram to share photos of Vice Presidents Mike Pence and Yemi Osinbajo's visits to Hurricane and flood-ravaged Texas and Makurdi respectively.
In the photos, Pence offered personal touch in his visit...hugged victims affected by Hurricane Harvey and helped to clear storm debris, while Governor Ortom rolled out a red carpet for Osinbajo.
"So this is the American Vice President in Houston and below is our Vice President in Benue.
I believe it is important for politicians to stay in tune with the grassroot and feel the yearnings and pains of the people. All the security and protocol take away from the humane touch which is so necessary" she wrote.
