ETSU NUPE VISITS OBA EWUARE II

The relationship between the Benin Monarch and EtsuNupe was re-enacted with a visit of AlhajiYahayaAbubakar the EtsuNupe to Oba Ewuare II, the Oba of Benin in his Palace in Benin City.
 

Welcoming the EtsuNupe and members of his Royal entourage, Oba Ewuare II thanked him for participating in his Coronation ceremony.

 

 The Oba of Benin described the EtsuNupe as a fine traditional ruler whose appointment as the Chancellor of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma was a square beg in a square hole.
 

The Benin Monarch expressed confidence that the Chancellor would be able to provide the desired leadership for the growth and development of the institution.
 

Oba Ewuare II informed his guest that he looks forward to paying a similar visit when he embarks on a nation-wide post Coronation thank you tour.
 

The Oba of Benin calls on the EtsuNupe to regard the Palace of the Oba of Benin as his home away from home.
 

AlhajiYahayaAbubakar, the EtsuNupe told the Benin Monarch that he was in Edo State to attend the convocation ceremony of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma where the State Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki is expected to be installed as the Visitor to the University.
 

The EtsuNupe said as the Chancellor of the University, he consider it very important to pay the Oba a Royal visit.

He expressed gratitude to the Oba of Benin for the cordial relationship since he became the Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
