Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola to resign.
The former Minister and Cheiftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said it is necessitated by Ademola Adeleke’s victory in Saturday’s senatorial by-election in Osun West.
Fani-Kayode claims that Aregbesola had vowed to resign if Adeleke won and has now asked him to fulfill his promise.
“Adeleke has won. Shave off ur beard and RESIGN!”
Adeleke polled a total of 97,480 votes, to defeat Hussain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who secured 66,116 votes. Adeleke won nine out of the 10 local government areas where the election held.
