Sad: Man stabs his fiancé to death over Food [photos]

A woman has died after being stabbed by her fiance following a disagreement at her off-campus residence on Monday. Her fiancé also sustained injuries during the fight but has recovered and is now in police custody.

Bolatito Ojuola was a postgraduate student, studying Science Education at the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State. She met Best Origboshe at her father's company in Ondo state where he was a staff. They began dating and were soon engaged.

Origbose later lost his job and he joined Ojuola in Minna. On the fateful day she died, the victim prepared a meal and presented to suspect but he refused to eat it and this incensed Ojuola who demanded to know his reason. An altercation ensued and it escalated to a physical fight which saw Ojuola grabbing a knife with which she injured her fiancé. In retaliation, Origbose got a knife and stabbed her in her midsection.

Both of them were taken to the hospital by a neighbour who heard screams from the house. Ojuola was confirmed dead on arrival while Origbose was treated for his wounds and later released to the police. The parents of the deceased have reportedly arrived Minna from Ondo state for their daughter's corpse and also to follow up with investigations.

Bolatito's last Facebook post was a change in her relationship status showing that she got engaged on January 27th.
