Mrs Anetor while speaking to journalists, alleged plans to cripple investigation into the attempted murder and robbery of the catholic priest who is now bedridden at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH yet to undergo a brain surgery.

Anetor alleged that since Fr Ekakabor was rushed to the UBTH, efforts to ensure that he get a successful brain surgery have been truncated by Rev Fr Philip Ejopharophen and Rev Fr Peter Ogagavwodia who have posed to be his friend but want him dead.

The Principal Associate explained that Fr Ekakabor with one James Omiese were given the beaten of their lives by some hoodlums on 4th of February 2017 and bathed with liquid content suspected to be acid robbing dislodging them of their valuables. She alleged that Fr Ekakabor was again attacked by the same people on 11th February where they smashed his head with a battle axe damaging his brain.

Also, she allege that both reverend fathers have connived to release one of the suspects who battered Fr Ekakabor while lamenting that her efforts to push for further investigation into the case have been greeted with stiff anger from the duo.

She said she is been trailed from her work place to her house and has been warned by the Catholic Lawyers Association to steer clear of the case, an order she alleged was given by the Rev fathers.

Mrs Anetor further stated that the duo fathers have concluded plans to petition her to the Nigerian Bar Association for professional misconduct if she doesn't withdraw from the case.

According to her, "In the light of the above, I feel so threatened for my life and that of my family so much so that I can fidget at the sight of my own shadow to imagine that a church built on God and love of God would stoop this low to endanger society by interfering with investigation of an attack on her own priest.

"And to imagine that all these threat and obstacles from the church on me to enable the church completely stultify danger or threat to extinction.

"Therefore this is a passionate call on the AIG to use his good office to save the life of Rev father Stephen Ekakabor, my life, the life of my family by withdrawing the charge from the court for proper investigation of all issues of this case by the police.

"I have the firm conviction that all those who stood for proper investigation of this case by the police, those who wrote letter to the police to have the suspect releases and all those who have continued to warn and intimidate me with the danger of what I would face except I steer clear of the case may have one or two things to tell the AIG in this case". She stated.
