Ex-Lagos Chief Judge, Justice Philips Gets FIFA Appointment

Former Chief Judge of Lagos State, Justice Ayotunde Phillips has been elected into FIFA’s Ethics Committee Adjudicatory Chamber as Africa’s representative.

According to Sahara Reporters, the outcome of the election was revealed by the committee before the conclusion of 67th FIFA Congress on Thursday in Bahrain.

The committee has Vassilios Skouris Greek Judge and former and longer serving president of the European Court of Justice as its chairman.

Deputy chair: Fiti Sunia (American Samoa)

Members:

Asia: Mohammad Ali Al Kamali (United Arab Emirates)

Africa: Justice Ayotunde Philips (Nigeria)

Europe: Aivar Pohlak (Estonia)

North Central America and Caribbean: Margarita Echeverria (Costa Rica)

Oceania: Jack Kariko (Papua New Guinea)

South America: Flavio Zveiter (Brazil)
