The National Confraternity of Christian Mothers, NCCM is set to build a N600 million female hostel at the Catholic -owned Veritas University, Abuja.
Speaking at the investiture of Patron and Patroness, first National Merit Award and the launching of the female hostel project, the President of NCCM, Lady Marcella Cole described the project as ordained by God and called for support from well-meaning Nigerians.

Lady Cole noted that the project which will take a period will be realized only with the right support and trust.
She congratulated the awardees and urged them to continue to give more to the society.
“The bishop of Nigeria has asked us to build a female hostel at the Veritas University. As we formally launch the project today which will be an ongoing event until our target is realized, we plead with you all for your wonderful support and contribution to enable us complete the building which will cost six hundred million naira.
“It is truly huge and gigantic project and we know that as we trust in God, he will build the house as he has already ordained”. She said.
On her part, the Benin Archdiocesan President, Dr Stella Usifoh said the NCCM was “once again blazing the trail and we are moving on to the glory of God”.
She further disclosed that 150 mothers were inducted in the solemn admission stating that, “Evangelism is ongoing for us to expand more and bring more women into the association. Our women participate actively in their parishes and in all archdiocesan activities”.
