Dino Melaye wears convocation gown to senate plenary, shares NYSC certificate, petitions DSS

As the certificate saga  surrounding senator Dino Melaye gets messier, the senator has continued in his usual dramatic way to make light of the whole situation.  Dino Melaye appeared in the senate for plenary dressed in his convocation gown this morning. 

Yesterday, the senator was seen a video he shared online, singing in Yoruba and mocking the promoters of his certificate scandal.

  Meanwhile the senator also shared a copy of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate. 

In the document, its stated that senator Dino started the programme on 9th July 2000 and finished on 8th July 2001. 

On Monday, the Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Ibrahim Garba, affirmed that Melaye graduated from the institution with a 3rd class in Geography in the year 2000. 

He has also filed a petition at the Department of State Security DSS against publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore, over recent allegations made by the online newspaper that he never graduated from Ahmadu Bello University, ABU Zaria. 

Dino has also filed a petition against Sowore at the office of the Inspector General of Police who now issued his warrant of arrest.
