Let me respond to those who wrote to seek my opinion on Apostle
Suleman, and why I don't expend my energy on lambasting the Church or
any other religions institutions.
Until my father's death in
2013 he was a pastor and gave a lot of service to the church and to
humanity, he was the kind of man that was happy to go hungry for others
to have something to eat.
The loss of my father in August 2013 was a devastating moment for the entire family, and I cannot forget the wonderful
role the Church played in helping us to get over the difficult moment.
the church was more than a family, the love and support rendered to my
immediate family by Bishop Abraham Chigbundu, Pastor Lucky Ehizokhale, Rev Moses Onodua Pastor Inyere Jude Rev. Mrs. Florence Chingbudu Bro. Jeremiah Onoge Pastor Friday Isererehien Rev. Idemudia and the entire members of Freedom Assembly was far more than enough to mention.
From that very moment, my opinion about the church changed, I no longer
saw the church as a place where people just gathered to sing and then
hear sermons, pay offerings and go home. I saw the church as a place
where people were united in support for each other and one of their own.
I was truly impressed.
I know the church and pastors have their own short comings, nobody is perfect, ( I am Mr. Imperfect) but I will never bring them or the church out to ridicule in public, I have sought prayers and support from a lot of my friends who are Pastors and I have access to them. If I need to criticize them for wrong doing I will pick up my phone and call them.
I know Apostle Suleman, I have personally spoken to him on some occasions, I may not be a member of his church, but I am not the kind to fall for cheap cock and Bull stories. I abhor blackmail and I hope the law enforcement can do a thorough investigation to let us know who is guilty and who is not. but until then, I stand with Apostle Suleman.
