Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori [see here] was released by the Nigerian Police on Saturday evening but his troubles may be a long way from over.
Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, said Maikori was being investigated over his inflammatory tweets, adding that he would be arraigned in court soon; PUNCH reports.
“He (Maikori) is under investigation. He will be arraigned in court on completion of investigation,” Moshood stated.
It was also gathered that Audu’s release was made possible by efforts by Nigeria’s Minister of Youth Development and Sports, Barr. Solomon Dalung who was at the Nigerian Police Force headquarters in Abuja on Saturday to make a case for his release.
