This life though! while some people have so much to eat and even feed their dogs on selected diets, others can barely afford sugarcane for a meal. A young man believed to be in his 30s has been butchered for attempting to steal plantain from a farm to celebrate Christmas.

The victim who has only been identified as Edem, sneaked to the farm with a friend to commit the act, however, luck ran out on him when the owner of the farm caught him in the act and inflicted cutlass wounds on him while his friend managed to escape.
The victim suffered deep machete wounds on the hand and leg, and was rushed to the Hawa Memorial Saviour Hospital at Osiem.
The Osino Police have commenced investigations into the incident. May God help our continent
